Hello am having a trouble with my new sound card that I just bought. I disable the old one (integrated)and I place this PCI new one that "should be more better" and I install it fine next day when I turn on my computer she doesn't pass from the loggo of WINDOWS XP after she finish the loading the screen goes on black. I know that its the sound card cuz before she wasn't given that problem I also went to save mode and disable it and then she ran normal with the old one but its not doing the same with the new one I really don't know what to do.

Thanks

Try booting to the BIOS screens and find a setting called "reset configuration data" Enable this setting for one boot cycle. This will allow your resources to be reallocated.

alright I didn't see that type of option on BIOS but I disable on hardware this things: audio codecs, legacy audio drivers, legacy video capture drivers, media control devices and video codecs. once I did that on safe mode she let me in normally but I really don't know exactly which one its giving me the problem that doesn't allows me to enter to windows desktop.

Thanks a lot sir
