Comment:

I reinstalled Windows on my laptop because it crashed. Now when I go to play audio it says "Cannot Play Back The Audio Stream: No Audio Hardware is Available"

I noticed down the bottom corner there is no speaker icon anymore and in Sounds and Audio Devices it won't allow me to select a driver. I have no idea what to do so if anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks

Easy just install the correct Device Driver, go to the Laptop Manufacturers Support Site.

Alternatively go into Device Manager and look for Devices with an exclamation mark!, whilst connected to the internet undertake an update driver, M$ may offer a suitable driver..

Meh, the correct driver couldn't hurt. You can find them from us.lgservice.com.

Is the Sound Device enabled in BIOS ??

Without an entry in the Device Manager installing a driver would not cure the problem.

Sorry i didn't read it correctly so try going into accessories / system tools /system information ...look in the components /problem devices tab also see if the sound has anything listed also in the tools run the directx diagnostic tool and check the sound output tabs. It should tell what the problem is .
