I just purchases a sound card called the Hercules Game Fortissmo II. It is installed perfectly and I have had it in my dell. I took it out and put it in this micronpc.com computer and it worked for abotu two days. Then i put a GeForce2 mx 200 card in this computer and my soundcard stopped working right when the vid card asked to restart to complete installation. The Video card stopped working and then the sound card worked after installation of the video card. I got an error code 10 message and it stated that i needed more resources. I posted earlier and i was told to get more RAM. I did and i haven't seen the error code since. Now everything works and all is installed perfect. The only thing is when I test my hercules sound card with the tester it had came with, it makes these crazy sounds through my speakers, bunch of jibberish. I replaced speakers with others and it still did same, speakers aren't problem. Then i uninstalled and reinstalled the sound card. The installation was a success, but the jibberish is still there, i disabled the built-in sound card from motherboard. Still jibberish. The device manager doesn't state any defects on the soundcard. I reseated the sound card in every single PCI slot and tried. Still Jibberish. I put in my DELL and it worked fine. What can be the problem. The soundcard worked fine about a week ago. Any help suggestions please? Greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

if you get good sound and only jibberish with the testing thing dont run the testing thing? Athlon xp 2000+ @1.7 pc 2100 256mb ram radeon 8500 win xp home oem several other things new pc on way
