My soundcard is not supported by XP. I have a GFXcel motherboard, built in it is a 3d PCI Sound Pro which stands as my sound card.3d PCI uses CMI8738 chip by Cmedia which has a separate driver and for my own knowing it's the one mostly responsible on my sound system. My problem is when I tried downloading the driver of CMI8738 for XP,I read a note fr:Cmedia saying that the driver might not work properly or satisfactory for the users because it merely supports the chip only and not the whole card which in my case is a built in. Can anybody help about my problem.
