Sound Blaster CT4810 not working!

Comment:
I just added a SB CT4810 (don't know the exact name of the product, but that's the model #) to my system and installed WinXP Pro w/SP1. My problem is that the sound is really crunchy (you can hardly make anything out), but when I re-install the driver from the Creative support site it works for about 1 min., then gets crunchy again.

I probably should make note that it's more of a "chirping" noise than crunchy sounding. Sometimes in the middle of something the sound will go perfect, then after a minute or so it'll start chirping again.
These speakers worked 100% before I installed WinXP, and I haven't bumped them or dropped them.
Driver issue?

Some models of the SB 4810 does not work for Me or XP, although creative labs may now have an ubdated driver and or patch for it.Try to update the driver or even use just the XP drivers instead of the creative labs. Either way it is a driver/compatibility issue.
