Hi Guy’s.
Is anyone running Sound Blaster 16 with Windows XP ?. If so could you be so kind as to e-mail me the driver. I have searched every site on the Web, all the driver guide sites and the Creative Lab site, but cant find any driver that will work with Sound Blaster 16.
Its for the Kids next door, who are not very financial, and I am trying to save them some money. I believe there is a driver that will work but for the life of me I can’t find one. So hope one of you geniuses can help.
Thank you in advance for any help given.

May the force be with you.

assuming it's an old non-plug'n play soundblaster, just install it manually.

control panel > add new hardware> next > 'yes, i have already connected the hardware' next > scroll down to 'add a new hardware device' next > install the hardware that i manually select from a list (advanced) next > 'sound video and game controllers' next > creative technology ltd > soundblaster 16 or awe32 or compatible (wdm) > next ... and continue the procedure.

to get the device working, you may have to adjust the resource settings later manually from the device manager.

Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'

Or you could go to www.pricewatch.com and make them a present of a new sound card for about 15$ US.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!
