Specs: Windows XP
I have filenames in excel which starts from numbers. e.g. 1_xyz.xls, 2_xyz.xls and 10_xyz.xls and so on. while sorting the files in the folders, files are listed 1_xyz.xls followed by 10_xyz.xls and not by 1_xyz.xls followed by 2_xyz.xls. I am using windows xp 64 bit version. This problem was not there with my previous 32 bit version of XP Professional. Is there any help? Please...

Put a zero in front of the single-digit numbers.

thanks flon_klar for replying. But I am sorry it didn't worked. I have as many as 4268 files in that folder, linked with single main file.

thanks anyway.
