I'm working on a Sony VIO ALL-IN-ONE that I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro on that Blue Screens. Unfortunately, I had to open it up to install an IDE optical drive because the internal optical drive didn't work which I had taken out. I've preinstalled Windows XP on the hard drive outside the Sony VIO system then installed it and used the IDE optical drive to repair Windows because it kept restarting on it's own. I've been trying to use a Cobra Pack CD to put on drivers but when I use it it blue screens with the following codes 0x0000007E and when look through the blue screen it states something about "portcls.sys". I've tried four different types of memory sticks but it still gives this Blue Screen Error. What could be going wrong? How can this be fixed?
