Need help! I have a Sony Vaio which was affected by virus and was reformatted. The weird thing is that the machine's model is not listed on the sony support site. The system model number is PCG-7KGP (listed on the system tag), but on the paper which was provided by the sony store, it has two model number "VGN-FJ60LP and PCG-7KGP", both don't exist on the sony support site.
The problem is:
The audio driver which was located on the partition D (which I thought I was lucky to have it backed-up) doesn't work. Each time I run setup, it always looks for Realtek HDAudio inf file. I tried to look for the same version in Realtek site and have it downloaded but still it doesn't work.
My system configuration is:
CPU: Intel Pentium M 1.86 Ghz
RAM: 1.0 Ghz
Video: Intel GMA900
OS: Windows XP SP2
Audio Controller: Intel 82801FBM ICH6-M High Definition Audio
Mobo: Sony Q-Project
Chipset: North Bridge: Intel Alviso-G i915GM
South Bridge: Intel 82801FBM ICH6-MMany Thanks

By the way, the original Windows OS was Hangeol (Korean) upon reformatting, I loaded an English version. It is now that I have an audio problem.
Please help!
Many Thanks
