I hav a Sony Vaio Laptop. I'd like to get it to startup from a Cd or memory stick. Can anyone tell me the key command to get it to do this. I went into the bios, but couldn't find the CD drive, perhaps its broke, so I'd like to try using a memory stick. I assume there's a key you can press when starting up to decide where you're going to boot from... or is this only available in Vista. Thanks

I'd like to explain further. My CD drive is broken. I want to wipe the Hard Disk but can't do this as I can see no optin to boot up from a memory stick. I can only boot up from a Cd, HD or network. Can anyone suggest how I can get over this problem. Can I boot up from an external Cd drive? Many thanks T
