Got a Sony a Vaio notebook i am fixing for a customer. They have not done made the recovery cds. And I can't find their model online to download the cds. The model is PCG-6G7P.
Their sata HD went kaput. So i used some data recovery software to get some files off that not located on the bad sectors.
Was wondering if i could copy the recovery files of the drive and when get the new HD stick these files on it. Would the system recognise it.
