I know someone who has a sony Vaio and I'm pretty sure its a PCG-GRX560. It has a mobility Radeon x750 video card. Recently, this person has been having a lot of problems with the display settings. Text is HUGE, buttons (like the search button on google.com) is huge and other problems occur (websites are distorted and colors are wrong). I've done everything I can think of...I've changed resolution, refresh rate, disabled accesability options, set everything to default in the appearence tab of the display settings, changed font to default in IE ver 6. I believe it may be the display driver that is giving me all the problems...so if anyone could shed some light on my problem I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

jackets380, there're a number of possibilities. First to pop into mind is driver. To make sure you have the correct one, perhaps a visit to the mfgrs. website is in order. If it turns out to be the correct one, a wheel mouse is the next thing that comes to mind. A wheel makes text larger/smaller as it turns. Next is the display option about text size found in the 'view' menu. Small, medium, large, choose another and see if that has any effect. HTH. Ed in Texas.

I'm pretty sure it's the correct driver. It came pre-installed from Sony. I've done all of the rest though - changing the text size. This is such a weird problem. It seems so simple, but it's really messed up.
