something new in msconfig-im scared

in my msconfig I have something checked and it was not there before and I am scared.

here is what it says:

START UP ITEM- dumprep 0 -k
COMMAND- %systemroot%\system32\dumprep0 -k
LOCATION- HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run

What is this and can I uncheck it.

I appreciate all help thanks............

Safe to uncheck. This is used in connection with memory dumps - you can disable by - right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button in 'Startup and Recovery'. In the bottom pane - under 'Write debugging information' - click on the down arrow and then select 'None' - OK your way out
