this has really been bothering me. Everytime i download or save something through mozilla firefox it just doesnt work, it will not apear in the download manager and i have tried everything to fix this, i completly uninstalled firefox and deleted the files it left, i went into the regestry and deleted what it left there and then reinstalled it and it still has this problem, it used to work just fine and it suddenly did this without reason i didnt install any new software or anything like that.

well more percisely on the problem, lets say i right click on an image, i click save image as, it will ask me where to save it as it should do. I select a location and click save. Then when i open the download manager it is empty, i also then go to the folder i selected to save it in, the image is not there. It does this with all files.

As you have completly removed FF & reinstalled, it sounds like it is another program or security setting, blocking / filtering downloads.
