Start/AllPrograms/Accessories/Systemtools/SystemInfo OR ControlPanel/System/GeneralTab both will tell the CPU speed recognized by O/S-[mine749(750MhzAthlon \T-bird)]
Or there are utilities at www.downloads.com that will give much more info as needed. Good Luck
