Comment:

I want to upgrade or just add more RAM to my laptop. I currently have 512mb and I'd like to double it. However, I don't know much about it, and I have a few basic questions.

If I add RAM, does it have to be the same brand, or type?

The documentation for my computer says to "use PC2100 DDR-266 MHz or higher RAM only." What is higher than PC2100 DDR-266? Is PC2100 DDR-266 a good type?
