what must i do to solve bad memory cache problem? It's like this: Originally i am running at 348mhz. However, due to certain reasons, i had to remove the other RAM and make do with 248MB of RAM. Unfortunately, my systmem has been experiencing frequent unexpected rebooting without any form of warning(therefore, it is not msblast virus). what should i do to solve this frequent unexpected reboot problem. I strongly believe it has to do with the memory problem.
Another question is what i had posted earlier but had stopped receiving replies that is : how do u reset the main partition and format the HDD?? this is what i did when i install Win XP Pro on my machine and had encountered error in successfully copying the files to the HDD... 1) Run the XP Pro Setup 2) Accept the Agreement 3) Delete both my main and sub- partitions(C: and D:) 4) W/o restarting, create both c: and D: again. then format c: with NTFS and copy installation files to c:.
after the third step, should i restart the system then continue with step 4? is that what u mean by resetting the main partiton and format?
