I had the problem lately where i kept getting the message "an internal application error has occurred" whenever i tried to use wmp9 or 10. I searched this forum without finding a solution, even though many others seemed to be having the same problem.
I have since found one and am posting it here in case it helps anyone else. My search function did not function either, nor did the print feature from Internet explorer.

Registering the vbscript and jscript dlls had me sorted in seconds.
