Hello everyone!
I'm looking for a software able to make scheduled application close.
For example running an application to record a TV program I'd like to be able to close this application at a certain hour and next using PowerOff or another program to close the system.
When I use only PowerOff to close the system it only reboots instead of closing all the running applications and close the system definitely.
That's why I need a separate program to close the TV recording software at a certain hour and then I'd use PowerOff to close the system.

How about a batch file as a scheduled task?
taskkill /pid 123
shutdown -s
Actually, shutdown -f will do it all in one shot without having to know the PID of the process.

I use a app called Webscheduler to record TV programmes on my computer. One of the post capture tasks it performs is to use PowerOff to either shut the computer down, or hibernate it.
These are the commands I use to do this within Webscheduler.:
