Isn't there some type of software (maybe freeware) that will search my computer and find the latest software updates, and hardware drivers for me?
I've noticed the driver scan, and software updates links on the left.
also browse the main page for some more cool free stuff.

Not trying to be smart, but is there some reason that prevents you from checking for yourself? Those so-called "free" driver scans are bunk... Sure... get a free scan... then you'll have to pay for the driver update that it somehow pulls out of a hat.
Are you experiencing computer troubles and suspect a driver might need an update? If so, then go to the manufacturer's website and see if there is a newer / updated driver; easy as that... Why on earth would somebody need to pay for drivers from a company that will (very likely) somehow find a "new & improved" driver for you to buy, lol.. That's right, purchase... If something ain't broke, then don't go fixing it unless you are encountering problems.
