I have been trying to remember the name of some software that you can run and it gives you all the information about your computer. software thats installed,service packs,system info,etc does that sound familiar to anyone.. for some reason I think it starts with an "L" and I have search google,yahoo and the forums and cannot find anything, its been a few years since I used it and I couldn't find a better place to put the question.. sorry if its in the wrong forum.
Everest is better than Belarc because it reports on the actual hardware. I've known Belarc report on the drivers used (software) even though they are incorrect. You now have to pay for Everest but these old free versions are still around and work fine:
