I have just bought an Visioneer OneTouch 7100 USB scanner and it came with its software and everything, but i dont like its software because its too simple...The scanner drivers are working fine, i just need to know a good scanning program that is the best these days...Thanks

Try the xp built in software....
I like it...scans like a dream with my hp scanjet. No need for 3rd party rubbish clogging up your h/drive..
As long as you have your drivers installed for the particular scanner you use ..it should be fine..
Then use your fav image editing software afterwards...
Photoshop elements supports twain I think...(Direct scanning to photoshop elements..try this..
