Just a quick question (or so I hope):

Every time I restart my computer, all of my software that required activation needs to be activated again. This goes for any software, office 2007, and all of my Adobe software suites.

Any Ideas? This just started happening recently on my Vista Ultimate 32bit computer.

Thanks

Maybe because they were all trial programs and they all ran out at same time!

In reference to 11/05/2008

Trial versions? Why would I try to activate trial versions that I did not have a product key for? No, this is all software that I have purchased, and that has been previously activated.

Are you deleting stuff from any of the Program of Windows folders. Like temp files, etc.

As far as your last response goes, we have NO idea what or why you might have done. Lighten up.

For WinXP the activation info is stored in Windows/system32/wpa.dbl

I'm fine, I just didn't want people to start thinking that I was pirating software.

But thanks, I appreciate the help you guys give here.

I am not deleting any temp files/application data files etc.

I called Adobe and they had me replace some files with activation patch files that made it so that I could register the product. So the Adobe software can activate, but it has to do it every time the computer starts up, which can get annoying when you use the software daily or constantly.

Thanks

Don't know if this will help: http://www.extremetech.com/article2... but some interesting discussions. (last count 364 comments.)
