Specs: Windows XP
i have no idea how to permanately get rid of the windows antivirus pro. here is my story:i got windows antivirus pro virus a couple weeks ago,it disabled my .exe files and hijacked my browser. i restored the .exe files via regedit, well i got another virus but fixede it right away with a free antivirus product i found, however i had two other viruses (both easily fixed) right after that and it seems like every time i turn my computer on i have a new one. i used to have norton but it disabled that and now i cant get it back. i cant access any .exe files now and even when i go to regedit, it the values are correct saying i should be able to run .exe files. does anyone know how to permanately get rid of these pesky viruses once and for all and get my browser unhijacked and let me access .exe files? oh all the viruses seem to share that fake antivirus type program thing. please help me or tell me wher i can get a free antivirus program that pemanently gets rid of these reoccuring viruses

Most of these type of viruses are built into the web pages you visit once you get rid of them take a note of the web pages you visit and remember the ones that start the viruses then send them an e-mail or ignore them
10 bit 360 security free programe notifies you if a programme wants to load onto your computor and gives you the choice of accepting it or not

gjklbhn334, suggestion for you. In addition to the cleaners recommend, disable 'restore' prior to cleaning and re-enable after. That'll prevent you from re-infecting yourself.
