Comment:

I have a SMC wireless router, but I don't use the wireless protion of the router, I only use cables. I was wondering how do I disable the wireless protion of it so that my internet signal cannot be used or hacked into from an outside source, like people with labtops, etc...
Thanks!
Dan

In your web browser, go to http://192.168.1.1/ (or whatever the IP address of the router is)

Type in the password (see the manual if you haven't set a password), and click the Advanced Setup button. Click the "Wireless" section and you should see an option to "Enable or disable Wireless module function"

Hope that helps
