The system I am on has a USB smart media card reader with 2 slots - these are like drives to Windows. In Win98 which is also on the machine. when there are no cards in them, it doesn't make any difference, but on XP, at the Welcome screen, I get 2 error messages saying that there is no disk in drives H and G (the smart card 'drives') I then have to click cancel (theres also a retry button) to move on. Any way I can stop this happening?
