Can anyone tell me what Hard Drive S.M.A.R.T. means ?
This appears in my boot up sequence and it is disabled. I cannot see any refernce in the bios for me to change it. Is it important?

Thanks

It means "Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology" if your hard disk supports it you can enable it, but you may not like the results...

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED. If your system is running fine, do not touch it.
