We have the same problem on Win2000 PCs with our DOS applications. If you press ALT+(SPACE) when the command prompt is open and select PROPERTIES from the menu. Then go to the layout tab and make sure the screen dimensions are set to 80 by 25 (they probably show as 80 by 50). You then get the choice to save changes to all future windows with the same title.

Just create a shortcut on your desktop which points to cmd.exe or command.com. When I say create a shortcut, it will actually create a pif file instead. Once you've done this, right-click the newly created shortcut and choose "properties". Click the "Option" tab and verify/change "Display Options" to "Full Screen". Now when you go to shell out to DOS, use that shortcut and it should come up in full-screen mode.

just press alt-enter
also, try double clicking the icon at the upper left of the window, click on properties...there should be a setting about whether it should open "full screen" or not
