Simply put, when I transfer a file, it takes too long i think.
I have a laptop and a wireless USB stick. When I transfer a file between the computer with the USB and the laptop, for example a 4-5 MB MP3 file, it takes about 40-60 seconds. Now, when I was transfering a 200 MB file folder, it was telling me estimates of 60-100 minutes! Its supposed to be 11MB transfer, now I know it's not going to be 11MB, its going to be less than that, like 3-4MB/s right? So what I have is taking much too long. What could it be?

Are you using USB 2.0 port ,,,,
mite be usb 1.0 which is a bit slower ,,

OK, I think the 2.0 works now. Thanks. Problem now though is that when I'm transfering files that take a few minutes to transfer, the transfer will stall for a minute then I will get an error saying that The Specified network name is no longer available, though nothing has changed, ive done nothing and the transfer fails.
