Slow Connection

I have downloaded some programs that claim they speed you cable connection up all it has done is slow it down I can not do a system restore so know I am stck with a slow connection is there anything I can do to get back windows default settings?

program called CABLENUT. Search google. It will restore or set up the cache.

have downloaded some programs Programs or registry tweaks? Return to the sites in which you downloaded the tweaks and there should be executables to return the setting back to default or at least directions as how to do so. L L
