i recently created created 2 profiles on my computer........1 "profile" has the the regular services running, and the 2nd one i have
shutoff most on the unwanted services, so i can maximize my ability to do gaming on my computer, with the least amount of services
running.......now, I boot up my computer and i get 2 profile selections 1-normal config. and 2-gaming config. and when i choose the gaming
profile on my computer, my computer boots up slow......I say 1 1/2 to 2 minutes to get to the desktop.......but when i use the normail config. on my computer
it boots up extremely fast.....20 to 30 secs..... but once the computer is up and running on the gaming config.....there is nothing wrong......i was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem, when switching to bare-bones services, from "Black vipers Site"any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks again

I have done something similar to this, but my primary account is the one I have tweaked out, registry hacks, disabling of services, removal of all windows effects, ect, ect... My main Admin Account is the one I boot to and it logs me in automaticly, cause I set it that way. This is also the account I do all my gaming on, because its tweaked for preformance.
My secondary account is purley GUI, meaning its just for looks and presentation. I have widgets all over the place in that account, from a calendar to real-time animated weather maps and every thing else you can think of to make it look nice. Some of my friends don't even know what OS I'm runnig, because it looks so differnt, but its just a combination of Window Blinds and other shell replacements.
I have never experienced the things your mentioning, so might wanna try doing the opposite of what your doing now, and reverse your accounts. Just set it up like mine. You want to make certain that the "gaming config" is on your primary Admin account. Ohh... and make sure you "log off" one account before going into the next.
