Size of Drive shown in recycle bin is less
I have a machine with 40 GB of hard disk, which is as C, D and E with a disk space of 15, 15 and 10 GB's. I've installed both win 98 SE and Winxp Pro.
In the windows explorer it is showing right size for all drives but when I tried to adjust the reserved space by recycle bin through Recycle Bin>>Properties and "Local Disk" C, D and E, the drive size is being displayed wrong and it is showing only 9.68 GB for each drive.
Checking the size from the properties of each drive is still correct…. so what is the problem??
Do I need to fix it or is it normal??
Thanx for help, in advance
Dilip

I think it's normal - I use Win 98 and it says my HD is 1.99GB and this is a known issue.
Windows 98SE
HP Pavillion
Celeron 533MHz
HDD 10GB + 4GB
64MB RAM
Antiquated & Poor Quality
Runs like a dream.
