As much as I hate to admit my ignorance, I still feel the need to ask if I need Simple TCP/IP Services installed. Since I'm not networking (no ther pc's reliant/connected to mine), the only windows components services "Netwroking Services" I have ticked are... Internet Gateway Device Discovery and Control Client UPnP Unser Interface ..and as the os seems healthy enough, I hate asking about Simple TCP/IP Services, but when would one need those services installed? I ask because I read about some VoIP related things (above my head) that might seem to say that VoIP needs Simple TCP/IP Services running, but my Skype runs just fine w/o it. I appreciate the replies, but as indicated, I've already done what homework I'm capable of comprehending.
