The game works great, except that after a few minutes of playing all the text disappears. I can get it back by Alt-Tabing to minimize it and then restoring it, but this gets annoying. I turned Norton 2002 off, didn't do anything. I've got a Radeon 8500...haven't found anything similar on the internet. Anyone?

Thanks

Try a different set of drivers for your video card. I also have an 8500 and some driver versions cause odd glitches in games like Age of Empires 2. I haven't tried Sim City 3000 so I'm not sure if this will fix it or not. You might want to check the forums at www.rage3d.com

I have simcity 3000 unlimited and found many problems with running it on XP

the solution for me was to go to the Maxis site and download the update for the game, all was fixed for me.
