In the middle of a fresh install of XP Home, I received the following error: "800b0100--signature file during setup is missing". Setup stops and goes into a reboot and comes back to the same error message. Has anyone seen or received this error and what is the cause of the problem. I tried searching for this specific error and have not found anything.

I had the same problem and it only went away when I removed a stick of RAM which I later found to be faulty
