I am stuck in a boot loop. Everytime I power my computer on it takes between a minute and 5 mintues for it to turn itself off. I have done a quick search around on Google and here and all I found was to turn off automatic restarts after a system failure. I have tried this and it didn't work. The system works in safe mode (using now).
I'm hoping this is not to do with the power supply or anything, and I am currently running a virus scan but I doubt this is a virus.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Ed.

Forgot to mention those...
When starting in safe mode i get these errors:
DCOM got error "This service cannot be started in Safe Mode " attempting to start the service EventSystem with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-00C04FB926AF}The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
Fips
Processor
SYMTDIAnd when starting normally i get:
The UPS service performed server shut down.
I might be wrong, but I think the first two are just because of the restriction safe mode applies on the OS, and as for the second one Google churned up nothing at all.

FIPS, processor and SYMTDI is BAD. You been overclocking your system?
Either Windows is corrupt or your processor is going bye-bye or not seated properly.

Actually FIPS and processor. SYMTD1 is a service used by Norton.

Rick is right. Your processor might be running too hot. Is your heatsink properly installed?
