hi all
i had problem with shuttdown pc. it take longtime to shutdown the pc. when i shutdown the pc the saving update screen display after that screen will be the window shutdown screen that screen take like 1 min to shutdown the pc that litle bit longer time normal. i had another pc it only take 20 to 30 to shutdown pc.
is anyway i can adjust timing to shutdown the pc faster.

Has this always been the case since a clean o/s build or is it something that has started to happen recently?
If only recently, are there any programs you've added, software configuration changes you've made, or hardware you've added?
Added software - try system restore or uninstall recently added software.
Configuration changes - System restore or change config back
Hardware added - remove recently added hardware.
If all else fails try an o/s repair from CD or complete wipe and rebuild.
As a further thought, in the old days of windows 98, it used to have a problem with graphics drivers when shutting down. Try updating yours. Whilst you are at it, see if there are any other hardware devices which could have their drivers updated.
Hope this helps
