Hello, i just repaired my windows xp pro because i had some problems. Anyways, the computer runs fine now and every thing is great.
The problem is, when i hit "shut down" it used to be that the pc would save my settings and then shut down. Now it says like in windows 95 version "it is now safe to turn off you pc" and i dont have the time to wait for that message to display just so i can shut down the pc. I like to hit the shut down button, leave knowing my pc will shut down.
How do i change it so that it will not say "it is now safe to shut down your pc"
PS. I downloaded and installed all the updates from microsoft.com still doesnt work.
