I updated my advent 7071 laptop to windows XP SP 2 (Which i downloaded from the download part of Micrsoft.com [Free]).
Now it tack much longer to shut down. I don't know why it tacks longer, if you can help, do i need to install it diffrantly or download another free download? (I have done this update download on my other computers, and it has not made them tack longer to shut down).

First of all spellcheck would be good.

How much time difference do you feel there is?

There are defaults that reset when an update is performed. This could account for some extra time.
