Many people seem to have issues (or had issues) with Win XP not shutting down. I had this problem and it wasn't Roxio. I searched the Internet high and low but to no avail - no viruses no nothing. The only thing I could think of that was left was the BIOS.
On the of chance I removed Office 2000 from my PC as it was playing up and HEY PRESTO!!! It shut down straight away. I have since reloaded Office 2000 and it still shuts down. I have done this now on 2 Win XP PC's with the same problem and it works each time.

Hope this helps some of you out there
