I would like to know how to show folders in windows explorer and also the start menu.
At one time when I put the mouse cursor on, say an item in the start menu with a little arrow, it would automatically expand and show all items listed under programs but now I have to click the arrow to see these folders. How do I get back to the auto showing?

landon, I'm not sure about Windows 2000 but for Windows XP you'd right click the Start button, choose Properties, under the Start Menu tab click the Customize button under the Advanced tab choose "Open sub menus when I pause on them with my mouse", click OK/Apply/OK. Maybe Windows 2000 is different.

I think my profile says windows 2000 but I am now runing windows xp professional. I looked at what you say but that item is already checked and still want open without clicking. I am not sure if I have done something that would have prevented it from working or not.
Thanks
