Go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\User(your name)\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Then create a shortcut of the quick launch icon and drag to the quick launch bar.

I went there but it's not in there, Everything from my bar is but that one. Those are already shortcut too, so I guess it's gotta generate from somewhere else ?

Marty, Go to the link below and under the letter "S" scroll down to "Show Desktop Icon is Missing" where you'll find instructions for a manual method and a link to a reg fix which you can download & run.
Then save it as Show Desktop.scf and drag it to your quick launch bar.
