Normally when your mouse hovers over the time in the lower right hand corner of the taskbar, the date and time will appear in a box above it. When I do this, I can just see the top of the date and time box, like it is hidden behind the taskbar. I cant see the date. I have never even heard of this happening...Any suggestions...? Thank you!

As excepted I was able to recreate the problem on my computer by unchecking and checking the "keep taskbar on top of other windows" option within the taskbar properties.
Strangely enough I got miffed a little when I noticed that now my timeclock pallette displays behind the taskbar with the "keep taskbar on top of other windows" box checked, even though the taskbar always displays behind it, however the problem was fixed by again unchecking and checking the "keep taskbar on top of other windows" option second time around phew !!!!.

modderman, That's a common problem with Windows XP. Go to the link below and scroll down to Line 321(left column) and download the "Tool Tips Hidden Behind Taskbar" reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. It should correct your problem.
