Hi, I recently suffered under some clever trojan that messed with my registry and screwed up my shortcuts. I managed to get the "open in new window" link to work, but I can't find a fix for the ctrl+enter that puts the www and the .com on the word you type in address bar. If I type "cnn" in my address bar and then press the control and enter keys, it used to put on the www. and .com and take me to www.cnn.com. Now, it just puts in http:// and of course, there is no site called http://cnn, so it just errors. Any recommendations?

I would suggest you completely remove the Trojan for starters, or, run a System Restore to a time before you were infected with it.

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

SydBarrett78, Try the following:

1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Scroll down and look under Browsing, checkmark "Use inline AutoComplete", click Apply/OK.
