SHDOCVW.DLL not found

Hi Guys

I have just encountered a problem on my pc which is running XP Pro, and displays this message.

Explorer.Exe unable to locate component SHDOCVW.DLL this application has failed to start because was not found, re-intalling the application may fix the problem.


I tried to start my pc in safe mode but same message comes on.


Could someone please help me solve this problem, i will highly appreciate your assistance.

From the information in that thread, it kinda looks like it's a virus or Trojan. Have you run your (up to date) antivirus? The following is a good online one:
