Hello,
I have a Windows XP machine and a Windows 95 machine. The windows XP machine is physically connected to a printer. The Windows 95 machine, which is a laptop, is connected to the same subnet as the Windows XP machine.
I would like to be able to print from the Windows 95 Laptop to the printer connected to the windows XP machine.
Obvious solution:
Share the printer on the XP machine, modify security policy so that everyone includes anonymous users, give everyone ability to print to the printer.
Trouble is the printer driver is not available for Windows 95. Is there a way to share it as 'Generic Printer', so that I don't need a driver for my windows 95?
