Sharing a printer among two computers

if you r using xp set file and printer sharing on your network and share the printer in printer properties, oh yeah you will need a printer :-)

You'll also need to network the 2 computers. The simplest way is directly via a crossover cable (you'll also need network cards in each computer). You could also connect them via a network hub (a good idea if you think you might add more computers later). I use a Belkins Autoswitch....you can hookup 2 PCs as input and 1 printer/scanner or other device as output. Software is included with the switch, if you have Win XP you may have to download their latest drivers.
The switch can also be used in reverse to have 1 PC as input and 2 devices output.
