HI ALL, IM in big trouble. I was going to format my hard drive of my notebook (alienware notebook if that matters) when i discovered that my system did not recognize it. This is really weird because i was using it a year now and it was working fine. The message i get is this "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system". Please help me. The hard drive i have is a Hitachi travelstar 7k60. I have tried updating the drivers of the drive but nothing. i am really desperate now. Thanks Mike..

Well, unless and until it's in BIOS there's not much "drivers" or "setup" going on. If the HD is user swappable, try reseating it. Try resetting BIOS to default. ===================================== If at first you don't succeed, you're about average. M2

ok i reseted everything but still it doesnt work...im not sure now if bios recognizes it... i was thinking of unistalling the drive through windows but i think that will mess things more? will it not? Thanks Mike..
