In sounds and audio devices in the playback device, advanced/performance there's a sound accelerator slider bar. I have to set it to 3/4 to run one of my games but it resets back to full acceleration as soon as I do anything else. I have an onboard sound card and the ATI 9700 Pro.
I've changed it both from the control panel and through DXDIAG but it won't stick! :(
How do I make it keep that setting?
