Dear Anyone.

Bit embarrassing this, should be simple, can't set up Outlook Express. I get to the point when it asks me for my name, E-mail address and password. So I enter all three, just like I do when I go onto online Hotmail. And it spits my password out every time even though I know what it is and that I'm spelling it right.

Anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Chris.

Outlook is client mail as opposed to web mail & it is a bit more intricate - call up your ISP & have them walk you through the setup, there are often server details that will stump you if you do not use the proper information.

Dear Sabertooth and everyone.

Would that mean I could only use my ISP's E-mail, or could I still have Hotmail messages in Outlook Express? Or - better still - would I get both lots? I use both E-mail addresses for different purposes, you see!!

As stated above you can have a plethora of email accounts, but no longer can you access your hotmail account via Outlook without a token subscription :-(

Just for info, be aware that "Outlook" and "Outlook Express" are different email clients even though their principle of working is similar.
